Warminster Township Police Department needs adult members of the community to volunteer to serve on the Youth Aid Panel, an alternative to Juvenile and District Court systems for first time juvenile offenders. For information and an application call: Corporal Battistini at 215/443-5000. All applicants are subject to background investigation. Training will be provided.
Warminster Ambulance Corps is seeking volunteers who are at least 16 years old. They provide an "observer program" for those who are interested, and can assist in getting you trained in CPR and EMT skills. Work schedules are flexible - day, evenings or weekends. Hartsville Fire Company has 60+ members operating out of a single fire house located on York Road in the north end of town. Intensive training for volunteers is provided by the Bucks County Fire School and is required of all firefighters
Hartsville Fire Company provides a Pre-Junior Fire Fighter training program for youth ages 14 & 15. Classes are every other Wednesday evening at 7:30 at the Fire House on York Road. Once youth reach 16 years, they may attend the formal training sessions held on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM. For info, call the fire house at 215/672-9242 (evenings).
Warminster Fire Department is always seeking volunteers to man its three fire stations throughout the Township. Interested individuals must be 16 years of age to participate in formal training. Call 215/443-5423, ask for Mike Bean’s voicemail, to get more information.
