Department of Parks and Recreation

The Township's Recreation Services Division provides a year-round activity calendar with events for all ages including arts, athletics, games, trips and cultural activities - most of which are held at the Warminster Recreation & Education Center located on Little Lane. The Township also maintains 409 acres of active and passive recreation areas in 14 parks. Many of our parks are pocket parks located in neighborhoods. Soccer, football, basketball, swimming, wrestling, baseball & softball are offered by various adult and youth sport organizations throughout the seasons. Township businesses supplement these leisure services

Other Cultural & Recreational Opportunities:
On the cultural side, Warminster Township is proud to offer the Warminster Symphony Society - an amateur and professional music organization that continues the tradition of music within the community. Warminster Community Theatre, under the auspices of the Parks & Recreation Department, offers inexpensive musicals, comedy and drama for adult and children. Throughout the summer, free evening concerts are provided outside the WREC and families are invited. There are also a wide variety of non-profit arts organizations which supplement community offerings.
