HOW TO PREVENT WOMEN’S HEART DISEASE

Must pre-register Women’s Heart Disease is this country’s #1 killer of women. You do not have to be a statistic. You will see how easy it is to prevent this disease. Learn how to know if you are at risk, what you can do about heart disease risk factors and easy lifestyle changes even the busiest women can incorporate into their lives. We will discuss how women’s symptoms differ from men’s as well as how to deal with being nervous at the doctor’s office. This program is offered free courtesy of CAROL For Heart, Inc. Preventing Women’s Heart Disease through Education.
ARC COMMUNITY CPR & FIRST AID BASICS

Time: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
Fees: $50 CPR
This six (6) hour course includes adult/infant/child CPR as well as responding to any emergency, breathing and choking emergencies. Students receive a workbook and skill card from the American Red Cross.
HUNTER SAFETY EDUCATION

This course is designed for all persons 12 years of age or older, who are interested in hunting and gun safety. Children, 15 & under, must be accompanied by an adult. Successful completion of four, 3-hour classes is required to obtain a PA Hunting License. Attendance at all four classes is mandatory. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Instructors designated by PA Game Commission. Must provide date of birth at time of registration.
