CAMP WEEWANCHA

Four weeks of morning camp; three days a week (Mon, Wed, Fri); three hours each day (9 AM-12:00 NOON) for pre-school children, ages 3-5 held at the WREC. A great way to prepare your child for pre-school or keep him/her in an organized program when pre-school has ended. At Camp Weewancha, we play hard, do arts and crafts, read stories, and have fun! Each week of Camp Weewancha has a different theme, and crafts, stories, snacks and songs revolve around that theme. We will take one trip. Camp Weewancha’s director and some staff are certified teachers.

Registered campers will be invited to attend an open house before their camp session begins. Campers must be 3 years old and completely potty trained before camp begins. Campers who are 5 and have attended Kindergarten have “graduated” to our Playground Program. If your child is registered in an Early Intervention program and you would like him/her to participate in Camp Weewancha, please contact the Parks & Recreation office at 215-443-5428.
