Bark Park Update
You can almost smell the flowers in the air!. With warmer weather approaching and members starting to get back to the Bark Park, we wanted to remind you of a few things:
1. Please remember to clean up after your dog. This is a health issue, and there are no excuses! Help keep everyone’s dog healthy!
2. The water in the park will not be turned on until April 1, so come prepared with a water bottle when visiting the park.
3. Wet spring weather means mud… so be prepared for your dog to get dirty. We will be seeding as soon as the danger of frost has passed.
4. Do not let others into the park with your gate key. Every member has their own gate key and should use it. If we find out that you are letting non-members (or even past deactivated members) into the park, you will lose your Bark Park privileges. Help keep everyone safe!
5. We are considering installation of some agility equipment in the park in 2011 and have a potential grant opportunity.
Finally, if you have not renewed your Paw Pass yet, this will be your last email notice and your account will be disabled as of March 3.
If you wish to renew, please bring your renewal form, new license and rabies certifications to the Parks and Recreation office or call us at 215-443-5428.

Bark Park Safety Class
Remember, the Bark Park Safety Class is not for new members only. If you wish to take the informational class again, or have another member of the family that you wish to hear this great information, please sign up for the class today! ARC First Aid & Pet Safety
Anyone who owns a pet, or is thinking about becoming a pet owner, is invited to attend this valuable pet first aid seminar on April 9, from 10 AM to 2 PM. A Red Cross representative will demonstrate how to care for pets and what to do in the event of an emergency using dog and cat mannequins to practice animal choking, rescue breathing and CPR. Participants will receive a pet first aid book, supporting booklet, and pet first aid fanny pack kit. Registration is required, sign up today!
