Message from the Library:
The Warminster Township Free Library, faced with a major decrease in state funding, is reducing staff coverage, limiting the purchase of new adult and juvenile material including audio visual items and closing one additional night per week. Also, the library is not upgrading or replacing the many computers available for public use. This reduces the operating budget by $32,000 . These changes are effective January 1, 2010.
Library Director Caroline Gallis said, “ We’ve had some difficult decisions to make. I’ve had numerous meetings with our Library Board and Staff discussing this cut and the impact it will have on our community. However, we have to move forward with the available limited resources.”
