This is due to a change in our third party inspection agency. At this time all electrical inspections are conducted by a third party electrical inspection agency of the permit holders choosing. PA Home Improvement Act
The New PA Home Improvement Act 132 that becomes effective 7/1/09 requires that all contractors who enter into a contract with a homeowner for work more than $500.00 shall be required to register with the Commonwealth, please click here.

2009 Construction Codes
Beginning on December 31st 2009 the 2009 Edition of the International Code Series will be the code requirements for all construction taking place within Warminster Township as required by the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code. Please note the Accessibility Code will remain the ICC/ANSI A117.1 2003 Edition. Any work that has a valid permit, construction plans under review, or an executed contract for design prior to December 31st, 2009 may follow the 2006 Editions. Copies of the 2009 Editions are available for review at the Licenses and Inspections Office at 910 W. Bristol Road, Warminster PA 18974. The code books may also be purchased at 2009 ICC Store. Ordinance 692
Ordinance 692 adopts with amendments the 2009 International Property Maintenance Code as the Warminster Township Property Maintenance and Housing Code. It also adopts the 2009 International Fire Code, with amendments, as the Warminster Township Fire Prevention and Life Safety Code. They are available for review at the L&I Office or can be purchased though the International Code Council (click here). Permits
Beginning on April 1st 2011 you are required to obtain an electrical permit in Warminster Township in accordance with the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code. Plans and specifications may be reviewed and work inspected by any Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry approved Third Party Inspection Agency you chose use at this time. When applying for a permit you must submit a set of reviewed and approved plans/specifications along with an approval letter. About Us
The Municipal Services Division - the Department of Licenses and Inspection & the Public Works Department - is housed within the facility on 910 West Bristol Road. The Department of Licenses and Inspection is responsible for issuing Building, Zoning, Use & Occupancy, Occupancy Certificates, Erosion & Sedimentation and other various permits. This department is a clearinghouse for the Planning Commission and Zoning Hearing Board through the Zoning Officer. All inspections performed are to insure that buildings and properties throughout the township are in compliance with the codes and ordinances adopted by the Township Board of Supervisors. There are five employees in the Department of Licenses & Inspections who work closely with the Fire Marshal, Deputy Fire Marshal and the appointed Township Engineer(s).
