In 2006, the Township purchased a 14 acre parcel of open space from Christ Home. As we begin development, we need residents to assist with naming of this new parcel. Warminster residents are invited to submit names via email or postcard. Email your suggestions to recreation@warminsterpa.org or send your suggestion to "Name That Park", 1101 Little Lane, Warminster Pa 18974. Be sure to include your name, address and phone number on the card or email. All entries must be submitted by March 1, 2012.

The Skate Spot Committee will host an equipment fundraiser at Munro Park Skate Spot. Come see the new equipment that has been installed and help raise funds for more! $5/person donation to participate in the event. Contests, music, food.

Sealed bids will be received by Warminster Township until 2:00 pm on Friday, February 3, 2012 at its office at 401 Gibson Avenue, Warminster, Pennsylvania, 18974, for Municipal Fertilizer Supplies, Bid # 2012-01 for Warminster Township for a period of one year.

Warminster Township reserves for itself the right to accept proposals, in part or in whole, to reject any and all proposals, to determine what shall be acceptable as best meets the needs of the Warminster Township and to award to the bidder, who, in the judgment of the Township, makes the most advantageous bid. The Township also reserves the right to accept any bid without penalty.   

Bids must be submitted as specified.  Specifications are available at the Township Office at 401 Gibson Avenue, Warminster, Pennsylvania, 18974 during ordinary business hours or can be downloaded.  Bids must be submitted unconditionally.  Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date of bid opening.

The Parks and Recreation Department invites any organization or individual to nominate person(s) to receive the Edward A. On September 10, 2011, the Warminster Township Parks and Recreation Department, working with the Warminster Rotary Club officially opened Safety Town at Warminster Community Park.

The grand opening was the kick off celebration to the Township's 300th Anniversary!  Shortly after the ribbon was cut, big and little kids piled into the Safety Town to experience it for the first time.  And from the many smiles that were seen exiting, it looks like Safety Town is a HIT!

Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, and staff that put in many long days to make this possible.  The Parks and Recreation Department would also like to thank the Warminster Rotary for spearheading this project and helping make this dream possible for all the children in the Warminster area.
