Warminster Township is governed by a five-member Board of Supervisors who are elected at large for a 6-year term. Supervisor offices include Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. Public Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month. The Supervisors seek resident volunteers to be appointed to a variety of Boards and Commissions which act as advisory boards to the Township Supervisors:

Construction Board of Appeals
This board hears appeals from contractors/builders who disagree with a code decision.

Golf Committee
(A Four-member board and one citizen advisor which meets on the Third or Fourth Tuesday of each month at the Five Ponds Golf Course and acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors.)

Historical Preservation Board
(This five-member Board meets the first Monday of each month at Craven Hall, Newtown & Street Roads. They are entrusted to preserve the historic integrity of buildings and the heritage of the Township. For info, call Andrew Frederick at 215-956-2309)

Library Board
(Appointed by the Board of Supervisors, this seven-member board sets policy and oversees the administration of the Warminster Township Free Library. They meet on the second Tuesday of every month at the Library)

Municipal Authority Board
(Five-member Board appointed by the Board of Supervisors to set the policy and oversee the operation of the Warminster Municipal Authority. This Board meets the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Warminster Municipal Authority Building, 415 Gibson Ave.)

Parks, Recreation & Conservation Board
(Parks, Recreation & Conservation Board Seven-member Board which meets the first Wednesday of every month at the Warminster Recreation & Education Center and acts in an advisory capacity to the Parks & Recreation Department)

Planning Commission
( A five-member commission which meets the first and third Wednesday of every month at the Township Building. New building plans, plans to enlarge or change the design of a current facility, or land development plans must be reviewed by the Planning Commission prior to being brought before the Board of Supervisors for final approval.)

Traffic Safety Committee
( Six member Board which meets to review the traffic issues of our community. The Traffic Safety Committee meets on the last Monday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Township Building. All meetings are open to the public, and any resident is welcome to attend at any time. It is helpful if residents who want to discuss a particular traffic safety concern notify the Administrative Office at (215) 443-5414. )

Zoning Hearing Board
( Five-member board which meets at the Township Building on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Township Building. If individuals are seeking a variance to the current zoning codes, the Zoning Hearing Board must approve all changes.)
