Open Mon-Fri, 9 AM-3:30 PM and some evenings.
The Wilson Senior Center welcomes all seniors 55 years and older in the local area.  The Center provides recreational programs such as line dancing, bingo, trips, arts/crafts, bridge and pool. Many other services such as legal assistance, income tax preparation, caseworkers, Meals on Wheels, and 55-Alive driving course are also provided.  Lunch is served at noon for a minimum donation.  New members are invited to attend our Orientation Program held every three weeks - Please call to register.  Bingo is held on Wednesday evenings - doors open at 5 PM.  The Wilson Center is available for rental for dances, parties, fund raisers, receptions or any other type of celebration.  Please call the center for available dates and information.

New ART classes starting again -Thursday from 9–11 AM - Beginners welcome - the focus will be on drawing in pencil and brush - fee involved and you will be required to bring your own supplies.

27th ANNUAL BUCKS COUNTY SENIOR GAMES

Bucks County Senior Games will be held May 26 thru June 5 throughout Bucks County for seniors 50 years and older. Twenty-two different events are available, including golf, tennis, bowling, swimming, badminton, track and field, plus much more!  The purpose of the Games is to encourage seniors to stay healthy and active and includes entertainment and a Health Expo.  Registration: $8/person before 5/1/09 ($13/person after 5/1/09).  Games are co-sponsored with the Bucks Co. AAA, Bucks Co. Dept. of Parks & Recreation and Independence Blue Cross/Keystone Health Plan East.  For further info regarding event days and times, call the Bucks Co. CENTENNIAL SINGERS

On Sat, May 9th  @ 8 PM, the Centennial Singers celebrate its 34th season with a free concert of show tunes, patriotic numbers and songs of the spirit and a cookie intermission. CENTENNIAL AQUATIC CLUB

Centennial Aquatic Club is a swimming and diving program that competes in the Suburban Aquatic League as well as United States Swimming and United States Diving competitions. The season runs from mid- September through March. We encourage participation from children of all ages and ability levels. It is a program designed for those athletes who wish to participate in a quality program that is designed for individual achievement while placing a strong emphasis on teamwork. Practices are held at William Tennent High School. Athletes are grouped according to age and ability for their assigned practice times. CENTENNIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

Centennial School District Arts Festival:  Week-long arts festival beginning May 4 thru May 8 in all of the Centennial schools, culminating with “Showcase Night” at William Tennent High School @ 7:30 PM.  We hope that the entire community will come out to support these programs.  Please view the District website - www.centennialsd.org for daily information and updated schedules. CRAVEN HALL HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Muster Day at Historic Craven Hall: Sat, Jun 6;  10 AM-5 PM
The 4th Continental Light Dragoons, a re-enactment group, will set up camp for the day and perform typical camp duties including military drill, cooking, musket firing, and explanations of military life during the American Revolution.  Young people will have the opportunity to learn and participate in camp life and further 18th century fun.  Refreshments will be available for sale. There will be a modest $5 fee per family for this event and free parking will be available in the lot across the Newtown Road from Craven Hall.

Annual Antique Appraisal Night: Fri, June 5, – 6:30-9:00 PM
Experts from Philadelphia auctioneer/appraisal firm of Barry S. Slosberg, Inc. will verbally examine, identify and appraise up to three objects per person.  The cost is $8 per object or three objects for $20.  Appraisals are on a first come; first serve basis and owners must take full responsibility for their objects. During the evening, noted author and antique furniture expert, Lew Larason, will present a special free lecture and demonstration - “Caring for Antique Furniture”. Funds raised from this event are used to operate and maintain Craven Hall.

FRIENDS OF WARMINSTER LIBRARY

The Friends of Warminster Library organization (FOWL) is seeking new members and donations to support much-needed projects for the library.  Last year, in addition to other projects, they donated funds for a second Early Literacy Station, with bilingual capabilities, in the children's section. There are a lot more library projects in the works. The Friends Organization needs your help. Please support the Friends of the Warminster Library. HAM RADIO CLUB

The Warminster Amateur Radio Club (WARC) meets on the first Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM at the Benjamin H. Wilson Sr. Center, 580 Delmont Avenue.  WARC offers a variety of amateur radio licensing classes for beginner through advanced students at various times throughout the year. Warminster Symphony Orchestra enters its 42nd musical season and announces its 2008-2009 Concert schedule. Four subscription concerts are performed by the Warminster Symphony Orchestra under the musical direction of Joseph Lovecchio at Wm. Tennent HS Auditorium on Centennial Rd in Warminster.
