New Technology will greatly improve the fire safety of your home. Wireless smoke detectors are battery powered and install like regular battery powered smoke detectors. They transmit signals to other detectors and don’t require wires. With smoke detectors on each level and in each bedroom they form an effective fire alarm system that meets 2007 National Fire Protection Association requirements. Additional detectors are recommended in each separate room, in the basement and the garage. These smoke detectors are available for $37 each at Colonial Electric on York Rd., Warminster. Ask for Wireless Interconnected Smoke Detectors. Hartsville Fire Co. members will install these detectors in the home of anyone who can’t install them themselves. Call the station at (215) 672-9242 to ask a question or schedule the installation. Make your home fire safe in 2008!
