Five Ponds is a beautiful and cleverly designed course that will keep you on your toes. Four sets of tees, large well kept greens, and lush fairways ensure an enjoyable round of golf for everyone. Beware the changing nature of Five Ponds. Although much of the course appears to be open, significant penalties await the errant golfer. Twelve water holes, numerous fairway and greenside bunkers, patches of knee high fescue grass, and strategically positioned trees place a high value on accuracy. Five Ponds is a true test of golf for players of any ability.

Hole 3 / Par 3 (133-177 yards)
The third hole puts golfers to the test early. This beautiful par 3 plays 180 yards from the blue tees, downhill over a wide pond. The green is set in a bowl, surrounded by contoured landscaping. Trees block the wind on the tee box, but the bowl collects it and causes it to swirl around the green.

  Hole 5 / Par 5 (447-550 yards)
Number Five is the least demanding of our par 5's. After teeing off over a pond, you'll find a wide fairway guarded by water on the left and a bunker on the right. Your second shot is in danger from two fairway bunkers set 100 yards out which barely leave 10 yards of fairway between them. Having negotiated these hazards, you're home free...just don't go long!

  Hole 12 / Par 5 (448-525 yards)
Another punishing par 5, number 12 offers golfers a choice: hit it straight, or die. A narrow fairway is hemmed on both sides by deep woods all the way to the green. Although tight, it's not a very long par 5...so sometimes small mistakes can be redeemed.

  Hole 16 / Par 4 (343-438 yards)
The sixteenth is only the second hardest hole on the course, but one area magazine rated it the most difficult tee shot in Bucks County. From an elevated tee, the golfer must drive through a narrow hole between tree-lines, over a creek and avoid the fairway bunker that takes up the right half of the fairway (not to mention the deep woods on the left). From there the hole doglegs right to a green protected heavily by overhanging branches on the left and a bunker on the right. At 438 yards, this is one tough golf hole!

  Hole 17 / Par 3 (130-166 yards)
After surviving sixteen, the seventeenth might not seem so difficult...but it will bite you if you let it. The tee sets atop the highest point on the course, and the hole plays directly into the prevailing winds. The green is very large, severely sloped and surrounded on 3 sides by water. Behind it a large bunker waits to collect the only dry shots that miss the green. Club selection can vary by 5 clubs or more, and hitting this green is one of the most challenging shots on the course.
