Five Ponds Golf Club is a challenging and well maintained public golf course located in Bucks County Pennsylvania. True to it’s name, the course is built around a series of five ponds and the layout takes full advantage of the landscape. Rolling architecture, large bentgrass greens, elevated tees and plenty of water features contribute to an unforgettable golf experience. Five Ponds features 4 sets of tees ranging from 5430 yards to 6760 yards, an all grass driving range, and a 7000 square foot putting green. • Fivepondsgc.com - A new web site address with on-line tee time reservation capability is now available.
• Driveway Entrance Construction Update- The sanitary sewer is complete and the clubhouse is hooked up. The water service has been moved & driveway construction has begun. Memorial Day weekend is the target completion date.
• Golf Course Update- The sub-grade is back to pre-sewer installation condition. Crews have started clean up and spread topsoil, and replacement trees and shrubs have been planted. Finish grade and grassing has begun and sod is scheduled for next week.
  • The crew is busy getting the golf course ready for the golfers with spring clean-up, bunker preparation, aeration, fertilization and pre-emergent weed control. Three seasonal employees have returned to the grounds department for the golf season. Greens aeration takes place March 31 and April 1.
  • Clubhouse and Administration building landscaping will begin the second week of April.
  • Pole barn construction bid specs are being developed. Advertising for bids is expected this spring and construction will be scheduled for the summer months. McGrath Homes has been notified of the location behind the existing maintenance facility and they will screen the storage facility from the new homes.
  • We have been contemplating putting a cell phone tower on the golf course for additional income to the township. However, a suitable cell phone tower location for both parties has not been agreed upon.
• Proshop Update-The shotgun outing schedule will be posted on the website along with the 2008 rates, outing packets, lessons, specials, discounts, and other information. Daily course conditions and updates will be coming to fivepondsgc.com as well. Remember, you may now book your tee time on line.
• Restaurant Update-Easter Brunch had a good turn-out with 59 guests. Fun Fridays will continue into the golf season when there is no shotgun outing. Please call for daily lunch and dinner reservations. Reservations will be taken as long as there are no outings or banquets. Look for specials, coupons, the menu with current prices and the banquet schedule coming to fivepondsgc.com.
